She really cares for her patients. Naturally she is full of compassion, kindness, has no judgement and will make sure you are in a comfortable and peaceful environment.

When she provides treatment for you, she personalizes it for your needs and will explain anything if you have any questions.

When I first saw her I was in pain, distressed and very fatigued.

In late 2017, I was diagnosed with endstage breast cancer. I was looking for someone to help me with my protocol in a holistic, noninvasive way and she has supported me without judgment.

For about  a year since Dr. He has been treating me, a combination of acupuncture and herbal treatments, her listening ear and moral support,  the treatments have tremendously helped with my body’s energy, pain and stress level.

Dr. He is an EXPERT at what she does, she knows how to find the spots that are causing pain and provide relief, and gives you steps you can take home to continue the relief of pain you get in the sessions. I have degenerative disc disease in my back, and no one was able to provide pain relief for me, until I went to Dr. He.

Being a veteran having had 3 neck, 1 knee, and severe carpal tunnel surgeries as well as degenerative disc mid to lower back among other pain issues. For years I was fed pain meds and did physical therapy which provided little to no relief.

For the past couple of months I've been referred to United Acupuncture. Dr. Lianying He and staff have provided quality professional care. Having never tried acupuncture Dr. He did more than convince me that I'd feel better than any other prior treatment for my pain, she proved it.

Although I'm not 100% pain free, the acupuncture treatment, care, and professionalism I received here at United Acupuncture has reduced my pain level greatly and improving the quality of life lost from being in so much pain for so many years.

I am a United States Navy Vietnam/Cold war veteran and have been receiving Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections for Low Back Pain and Sciatica for years through the VA with little to minimal reduction of pain. 

My VAMC PCP recommended and prescribed treatment with United Acupuncture and Dr. He. My very first visit, improvement was noticed. After many visits my quality of life has greatly improved! 

Do not give it a second thought. Make an appointment with Dr. He and stop suffering. I have. No more injections! Dr. He is very caring, wonderful, with stellar healing powers. 

I was referred to United Acupuncture by the Charleston VAMC . Approximately 4 years ago I had an intracerebral hemorrhage that resulted in left side weakness and disabling arm and leg pain. Degenerative spinal issues also were also getting progressively worse.  At 72 years and a retired RN I was aware that post stroke pain was difficult to treat and I was also a poor surgical risk. No one could have been more skeptical when I entered Dr. He's practice. 

She was very patient and kind as she listened to my concerns. The staff were respectful. I had no discomfort as she proceeded. At the conclusion I was AMAZED !!  My shoulder to hand pain was greatly relieved and better sensation. I could rotate my neck without the burning pain. My left leg spasticity was also significantly reduced making it much easier to walk. My slight left facial palsy was noticeably diminished.

In conclusion I know all about placebo effects etc. but I can tell you my experience was real and measurable. Dr. He is extremely careful and skillful. The results have certainly improved my quality of life.

Today was my initial visit and it was amazing! I called Sunday and left a message hoping I could be seen today because of the extreme pain I’ve been in. I received a call this morning when the office opened and I was offered an appointment. 

I walked in limping from the pain; nothing had helped, including allopathic methods. I left my visit with no need of the cane I’d been using. 

The entire staff was extremely polite and accommodating; the office atmosphere, soothing and peaceful. I was well taken care of and finally, I have relief! Dr. He is a great listener and very attentive. Everything possible was done to relieve the pain and inflammation.

Dr. Lianying He is a highly skilled Acupuncturist. I saw her in 2018 for my severe GERD problem. I was struggling with this condition for about a year and taking omeprazole daily to relieve symptoms.

On my first session she took all my health history and prescribed better eating and sleeping habits. After talking to her I felt much better. To my surprise, after my second acupuncture session with Dr. He, my GERD completely disappeared. 

I am so thankful to Dr. He for making my life better. Anyone with such problem, please give a try to United Acupuncture. Everyone's body respond differently, maybe you too can get good results. I would highly recommend Dr. He to anyone who wants to try acupuncture.
